• Account & Profile Information: When you register or sign in using Google OAuth or email authentication, we receive your name, email address, profile avatar image, and unique user identifier.
• Exam Attempt & Performance Data: We record your mock test answers, time taken per question, accuracy scores, test completion timestamps, section-wise breakdown, and rank metrics to generate your candidate performance report.
• Payment & Transaction Details: When purchasing a test series or course batch, payments are securely processed through certified third-party payment gateways (including Cashfree Payments). We record the transaction status, order ID, amount, and timestamp. We do NOT store credit card numbers, CVVs, net banking passwords, or UPI MPINs on our servers.
• Technical & Device Information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, screen resolution, and referring URL for analytics, security fraud prevention, and session maintenance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data solely for legitimate educational and service purposes, including:

• Providing, maintaining, and personalizing your exam preparation portal.
• Calculating all-India percentile, test scores, and performance analytics.
• Processing transactions and unlocking digital access to purchased test series.
• Preventing fraudulent test attempts, bot traffic, and unauthorized account sharing.
• Providing customer support and resolving grievance inquiries.
• Sending essential service notifications (such as transaction receipts, security notices, and exam syllabus updates).

3. Data Protection & Security

• Row Level Security (RLS): Our database (powered by Supabase PostgreSQL) enforces strict RLS policies, ensuring only authorized users can view or modify their personal account data and test attempts.
• Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / SSL).
• No Selling of Data: We do never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party telemarketers or advertising brokers.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We collaborate with trusted infrastructure partners to deliver platform functionality:

• Supabase: Cloud database hosting, user authentication, and encrypted data storage.
• Cashfree Payments: RBI-licensed payment aggregator for processing UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking.
• Cloudflare R2: High-speed, secure object storage for answer-key PDFs and static assets.
• Google OAuth & YouTube API Services: Secure single-sign-on (SSO) login and educator channel verification to validate course video ownership, prevent copyright infringements, and facilitate lecture imports.

These providers are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us.

5. YouTube API Services & Educator Channel Integration

SarkariTest.Com integrates with YouTube API Services to provide educator verification, copyright validation, and seamless video lecture import for course batches.

By connecting your YouTube channel to SarkariTest.Com as an Educator, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Governing Terms: Your use of YouTube features is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
• Limited Data Access: We request only read-only authorization (youtube.readonly) to retrieve channel metadata (Channel Title, Channel ID, and Channel Handle) and your channel's uploaded video details (Video ID, title, duration, and visibility status).
• Purpose of Data Collection: This data is accessed solely to: (1) confirm that you are the legitimate owner or authorized educator of the lectures attached to your course, (2) prevent copyright infringement and unauthorized re-sharing of other educators' videos, and (3) allow you to import lectures into course folders with 1 click without manually copying URLs.
• No Channel Modification: We never alter, upload, delete, like, comment, or manage videos on your YouTube account. We only read public and unlisted video details you explicitly choose to include in your syllabus.
• No Selling or Advertising Use: YouTube user data is strictly utilized for platform functionality and is never sold, leased, traded, or used for third-party advertising or profiling.
• Revoking Access & Data Removal: Educators can disconnect their YouTube channel at any time directly from the Course Creator Studio. Disconnecting immediately deletes the stored channel access tokens. Additionally, you can review and revoke SarkariTest's access at any time through the Google Security Settings Permissions Page.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use functional cookies and local storage tokens to:

• Keep you securely authenticated as you navigate through tests.
• Save your UI theme preference (Dark Mode / Light Mode).
• Cache offline question progress so accidental disconnections do not erase your test answers.

You can control cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may prevent you from logging into your account.

7. Your Rights & Data Deletion

Under applicable Indian Information Technology rules and data protection principles, you have the right to:

• Access and review the personal information associated with your account.
• Request correction or updating of inaccurate details.
